About Debbie
Debbie Louis is a New York City-based strategist and public servant whose career in civic life began over a decade ago with a single community internship.
She has served as Chief of Staff in the New York State Assembly and as Assistant Secretary for New York City Intergovernmental Affairs in the New York State Executive Chamber — coordinating policy and strategy across city and state government.
An adjunct professor at York College and a graduate of Baruch College's Marxe School of Public and International Affairs, Debbie has spent her career translating community need into policy action. She is also a wife, a mother, and a longtime advocate for New York's Haitian-American community.
